On February 20, 2025, Dr. Warut Pannakkong and Dr. Sun Olapiriyakul, Associate Professors from the School of Manufacturing Systems and Mechanical Engineering, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, were invited to deliver a series of lectures on “Sustainable Manufacturing through Smart Technologies and Circular Technology” at Thailand Science Park, 3rd Floor Auditorium room, Thammasat University. 

During the seminar, the SIIT faculty members explained how Circular Economy (CE) enhances sustainable operations under the following topics:
• Introduction to Circular Economy (CE)
• Case Studies of Circular Economy in Practice
• Circular Economy Strategies for Manufacturing
• Assessing Circularity in Operations

They also pointed out about AI for Enhancing Operational Efficiency in Industry 4.0 with the following contents: 
• Introduction to Industry 4.0 and AI
• AI Applications in Industry 4.0
• How to Start Implementing AI Project
• Key Success Factors and Common Failure Points

The seminar was arranged by Precision Tools Service (Thailand) co., ltd. to enable personnels in automative industry to enhance their manufacturing and manage their resources sustainably. There were at least 100 attendants in the seminar.
